Headshots
I spent a late afternoon with talented and charming Adam in North Park for head shot and portrait session. Adam is an on-air personality with X1FM, a personal favorite online radio station of ours; coincidently located right here in San Diego. You could catch Adam on the live cam on X1FM’s Alternative page.

A change of plans… Wilson Creek Winery – Temecula
Doug and Amie were looking for something unique and special for their engagement portraits. Amie loves hot air balloons so we planned to shoot their engagement photos at the Balloon and Wine Festival in Temecula California. Jodi and I arrived at the rural fair grounds early to set up our shots. There was only one thing wrong…one thing missing…no balloons!
Apparently the balloons stop flying at 7am. The area wasn’t exactly esthetically appealing for other shots, along with crowds and heat we needed a new plan.
We had to scramble and come up with another idea. After speaking to a local couple, they made a wonderful recommendation, the Wilson Creek Winery. It turned out to be a perfect back drop for Doug and Amy’s engagement photos with plenty of shady trees, cool running creeks, and rows of vineyards, we had abundance to work with.
Doug and Amie loved their shots and used them video frame for their engagement party and for their Save the Date’s… Sometimes when life gives you grapes you have to make great wine.

Hotel Del Coronado Wedding
It felt like such a privilege to photograph Matt and Karen’s wedding. We were excited to capture the bride’s life long dream of being married at the Hotel Del Coronado here in San Diego. The attention to detail was simply impeccable starting with the gorgeous flower arrangements created by Paula Rae Anderson of Paula Rae Florae. The professional bagpiper, three-string quartet, and the love dove release were certainly a unique touch.
Tom Fagen of Live Event Artist created a beautiful painting of the scenery. The energetic DJ, Miles Pelky of Mobile Dance Party kept the music pumping all night long and the stunning cake by Yoko My Sugar Garden was delicious and a huge hit.
This flawless extravaganza was coordinated by the talented Staci Tiras of Bliss Events. We also worked closely with Eric Nelte with Blue Pearl Productions who captured the wedding in video.
It was a fairytale wedding and a true pleasure to photograph….and like every fairytale; we see them living happily ever after.
A Beautiful High School Senior – Balboa Park
We had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful senior in High School from Modesto, CA. We were hand picked and this family chose to fly to San Diego for the day for us to take her portrait.
This High School Senior wanted classy and earthy setting for her senior portrait. We chose beautiful Balboa Park to for this shoot. The park’s beauty speaks for itself; added with the beauty of this lovely lady…magic happened.

Alice and Dean – La Jolla Cove Wedding
Dean and Alice live in central Wyoming but decided to travel to “Sunny” San Diego for their dream destination wedding.
Dean and Alice found Stefanie Muse with Inspired Events who assisted them with planning their San Diego wedding. The couple decided to get married at the beautiful La Jolla Cove Suites overlooking the legendary La Jolla Cove. It is an amazing venue with a gorgeous panoramic view of La Jolla Cove!
Everything was planned perfectly…from the live band, to the gorgeous cake, and delicious food, catered by Peartrees Catering. There was only one minor problem; the forecast called for high winds and torrential rain. So much for “Sunny” San Diego.
The ceremony began at 4:00 pm and the rain followed promptly afterwords. Wisely, Tracy White and Kiana Sanchez, Sales Associates with La Jolla Cove Suites coordinated a cozy ceremony and reception in the indoor room that opens up to the rooftop deck. It worked out perfectly for their small wedding.
